Dholera Special Investment Region (SIR) is India's first Greenfield Industrial Smart City, located approximately 100 km southwest of Ahmedabad in Gujarat. Spanning over 920 square kilometers, Dholera SIR encompasses 22 villages, each playing a pivotal role in the region's transformation into a global industrial and residential hub. These villages are integral to the development under the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC), offering significant opportunities for growth, connectivity, and investment.

These villages are part of a meticulously planned master development initiative, each designated for specific purposes such as industrial zones, residential areas, and commercial hubs. For instance, villages like Dholera, Pipli, and Bhadiyad are earmarked for mixed-use developments, logistics hubs, and industrial parks, respectively. Others like Ambli, Sandhida, and Kadipur are designated for residential townships, IT parks, and advanced industrial corridors. Villages such as Mundi and Gogla are planned for renewable energy projects, including solar and wind energy solutions.
The development of these villages is being carried out in phases, with the first phase covering approximately 153 square kilometers and comprising Town Planning (TP) Schemes 1 and 2. Subsequent phases will expand the development further, incorporating additional TP schemes to complete the entire region.
